Vibraphonist, percussionist, vocalist, pianist, accordionist, muliti-instrumentalist Rick Weingarten's masterful musicianship, versatility and friendly personality have made him popular in Colorado and on the international music scene for the last 30 years. 
   Since graduating from The University of Colorado with a music degree in 1992 he has been in demand as both a solo entertainer and with his group the Good Vibes Quartet. 
As a solo act or with the Good Vibes Quartet  he has performed at The Westcliffe Jazz Festival, The Vail Jazz Market,  The Boulder Creek Festival, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, The Governors' Walk and for Channel 9 News. 
  The Good Vibes Quartet has been the opening act for the Maynard Ferguson Big Band, The Don Byron Group and has recorded a live radio broadcast  for Colorado's jazz station KUVO.  
    Currently, Rick also plays with the swinging After Midnight Jazz Band, dixieland jazz with a twist in the Vibe Tribe, original modern jazz with Joe Bonner and Current Events, classy vocal jazz with Norma Tell and Sazon and experimental music with M.R.B.S.  
 
Always enjoying the challenge of playing different styles of music, Rick has played bluegrass with Pete Wernick's Live Five, rock and roll with Ricky and the Poorboys,  Big band music bith the Hot Tomatoes, progressive jazz with the Joe Bonner Quintet, and swing with the Fred Moldenhauer Sextet.  He has performed with: Jim Cullum,  Pete Wernick, James Dapogny,  Kirwan Brown,  Pat Bianchi, Rich Chiarluce, Larry Meeks,  Tony Black, Ed Stephen, Ron Cope, Cliff Spratt, Lionel Young,  Jerry Weiss, Mitch Chmara,  Joe Bonner, Charlie Burrel, and Vince Lindburgh.
